MY BLEUETTE & ROSETTE COLLECTION

BLEUETTES

Bleuette was first introduced in France in 1905.   She was intended as a premium for a new magazine for girls called La Semaine de Suzette which was published on a weekly basis from  1905-1960.  The first Bleuette was called "Premier Bleuette" and she had a Jumeau face mold.  Numerous face molds followed the Premier through the years.  The many face molds of Bleuette are:  Premier, 6/0 (Fleishmann & Blodel), SFBJ 60, SFBJ 301, Unis 6.0 (1916), Unis 301 and SFBJ 251.  All of my Bleuettes are reproductions made by some very talented doll artists.

ROSETTES

Rosette appeared in the Hiver 1955-1956 catalogue with outfits and accessories matching Bleuettes.  Since Rosette was only available from 1955-1960, there are not a lot of LSDS patterns available.
